Fund Development and Major Gifts Director

As a volunteer member, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic direction, ensuring compliance and financial sustainability, and enhancing the community profile of Anawim House and Susan’s Place as they continue to grow and evolve. 

What this person would bring

• Experience with donor cultivation, solicitation, or major gifts strategy

• Comfort supporting governance-level fundraising responsibilities

• Ability to think strategically about fundraising priorities and approaches

• Willingness to work alongside staff in a non-operational role

 What this role is not

• Not an event-planning role

• Not responsible for day-to-day fundraising execution

 Nice to have

• Existing donor or philanthropic networks

• Capital campaign or multi-year fundraising experience
