Our spaces are more than just a place to stay; they are sanctuaries designed to foster a true sense of community, belonging and dignity.
But creating space like ours takes constant care.
Right now, we are in urgent need of volunteer maintenance support.
Our buildings are busy, heavily used, and deeply relied upon. From repair needs and small fixes to ongoing upkeep and practical improvements, the demands are constant.
We are incredibly grateful for the dedicated volunteers who currently support our maintenance work. That said, the reality is—we need more support to meet the growing maintenance needs of our spaces.

What We Need Help With
We are looking for volunteers who can assist with general property upkeep and repair needs such as:
Minor repairs
Painting and patching
Basic carpentry
Fixture repairs and replacements
General upkeep and troubleshooting
Outdoor tidy-up and property care
Small improvement projects
Helping us stay ahead of wear and tear in high-use spaces
Whether you are highly skilled in trades work, handy with tools, or simply willing to help with practical tasks, we would love to hear from you.
Who You Are
You may be a great fit if you are:
Practical, dependable, and safety-conscious
Handy and comfortable with general maintenance tasks
Experienced in a trade or building maintenance
Willing to serve in a respectful, recovery-oriented environment
Able to work independently or alongside staff direction
