Financial Governance and Treasurer

As a volunteer member, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic direction, ensuring compliance and financial sustainability, and enhancing the community profile of Anawim House and Susan’s Place as they continue to grow and evolve. 

What this person would bring

• Senior-level financial, accounting, audit, or risk management experience

• Comfort reviewing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial controls

• Experience with governance-level financial oversight (board or committee level)

• Ability to step into the Treasurer role

• Strong judgment and a disciplined approach to financial risk

 What this role is not

• Not an operational finance role

• Not responsible for day-to-day financial management

 Nice to have

• Nonprofit, public-sector, or regulated-environment experience

• Familiarity with government funding or compliance environments
