Joshua Bixby is an entrepreneur, investor, and social impact advocate with deep roots in Victoria. Over his career, he has founded and led successful companies across a variety of industries, raised over $1.5 billion in capital, and supported the development of social enterprises that create employment and opportunity for individuals overcoming barriers such as addiction and homelessness.

Joshua’s passion for Anawim House stems from his belief that compassionate, community-based care — paired with meaningful work and supportive relationships — is essential to helping individuals rebuild their lives with dignity.

As a board member, Joshua brings strategic insight, financial expertise, and experience building both for-profit companies, and purpose-driven ventures focused on social change. Having lived, worked, and raised a family in Victoria, Joshua is committed to strengthening Anawim’s impact and building a more inclusive community for all.
