An active member of her church community, Debra was drawn to Anawim’s mission to offer a “hand up” rather than a “handout.” She firmly believes that with the right support, mutual participation, and a foundation of love, everyone has the potential to transform their lives. In 2023, she joined the board and feels privileged to be part of an organization that upholds compassion, dignity, and empowerment.

A Licensed Practical Nurse with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Debra thrives in environments that foster learning and is most fulfilled when working with people and enhancing their lives.

Creative and family-oriented, she enjoys traveling, fitness, running, biking, and paddleboarding.
