Lawyer


Margaret is a lawyer, practicing in the areas of conservation law, and wills, estates and trusts. She was drawn to Victoria for her university studies, not only by the beauty of the area, but also by its sense of community. Having been raised by parents who were always reaching out to those who needed assistance, Margaret was honoured to be asked to join the board in 2019. She had been very involved as a volunteer for the legal profession, both locally and nationally for many years, but Anawim was an opportunity to engage with people who had been overwhelmed by the challenges in life; to show the strength of our community by treating our most vulnerable members with compassion and respect.
